@Yunhoholicable – I tried Bee’s “diet plan” for a year and it made me sick and gave me kidney stones!! I am now on a (mostly) raw food diet, and have NEVER felt better. Bee is complete incorrect in so many areas… especially that we are all the same. I think it is just the contrary…we are all so different and that one type of diet is not ok for everyone. Dr. Mercola is correct in his body typing. My own intuition also lead me to this conclusion.
@TheTomtomtim why don’t you try some oregano oil in your shampoo. Oregano oil has antiviral, antibacterial, antifungal, antiparasitic, anti-microbial, and antiseptic properties. Also if you have candida and want to be help you should try Bee’s candida diet, just google “Healing naturally by Bee.” Hope it is helpful.
Hi Jo. Nice video, i need to know how to get a copy of this. I live in the UK, and i just can’t seem to find the resources to implement my anti-candida diet. You seem very well informed and i feel i can trust your judgment on the subject. Do you ship to the UK?

I have strong sugar cravings 2 weeks before my menses along with irritating vaginitis. I think that I have a candida problem with food allergies because as soon as I eat sugary starchy foods 2 wks. before menses, the vaginitis & itching is so bad, that I no longer can tolerate it. Im looking for a simple candida with little ingredients because Im a busy mom. Any suggestions?
Your theories may sit comfortably with your book sales and whatever kind of practice you might be running, but they don’t accord with the facts about human physiology and the appropriate diet for fueling it.
As for my metabolism’s inability to “handle fats well”, I would challenge anyone’s ability to do so. Evidence for this is all around us. What people consider to be “normal” or “good health” these days is laughable. I was eating a lot of Olive Oil. I still eat an avocado a day and enjoy nuts and beans which are all pretty fatty too and still no Candida. All that bottled oil just pushed me over the edge.
How many species on earth have populations which are omnivorous and herbivorous? Answer: none. Arguments for “metabolic type” are used by those attempting to sell books to long suffering dieters or those whose bodies are giving up under the burden of meat eating and are seeking health renewal.
There is nothing in human physiology to suggest that we should eat the decaying flesh (cooked or uncooked) of other animals much less the milk of another species.
I didn’t end up following Graham’s book to the letter, being unconvinced that a little cooking of grains and beans is as bad as he would have us believe. So I eat mostly raw and have a component of grains and beans in my diet. However your claims that only a small percentage of people can handle the vegan diet are ridiculous. No percentage of society can handle the amount of protein in an omnivorous diet and certainly not from meat and dairy which are totally unbalanced for humans.
I have read Doug Graham’s book, have met him and heard him lecture. He’s a great person. But only a small segment of the population have the metabolic type to be able to eat 80-10-10.
Eating 20 bananas per day can devastate your body’s ability to handle sugar. Be very careful and listen to your body attentively if you decide to try this eating plan. It may or may not work for your uniquely-you body.
Be very careful about eating only fruit – it may not work for your uniquely-you body.
I’m always open to ways to overcome health problems like yeast overgrowth. If your problem is reversed by eating only fruit, I suspect that yeast was not the underlying issue, but rather a digestive or toxic problem. Yeast does hang around because of environmental toxins accumulated in our tissues.
Some people can eat vegan, but they are a small percentage of the population. Find out what your metabolic type is and eat the way that serves your uniquely-you body the best for optimal healthy.
Obviously thefutureisvegan’s metabolism does not handle fats well. But you may handoe the good, necessary fats well, but carbohydrates not so well. Try eating according to the plan in Dr. Jo’s Natural Healing Cookbook, vary the amounts of fat, carbohydrate and protein to find your perfect diet.
How your body responds depends on your metabolic type. Some of us need protein, others tolerate more carbohydrates. In general you need a balance of protein, carbohydrate and fat in your diet to feed you without feeding the yeast.
In my experience the 80-10-10 diet only suits about 10-20% of the population.

Everyone needs a good source of the correct amount of good fat. I agree that most bottled oil is not good for us.

We have a difference of opinion and that’s fine as long as we treat one another respectfully.
Bless you and have a great day.
