How Long Until A Yeast Infection Is Completely Clear After Using Monistat 1?
I had the symptoms of a yeast infection (discharge of thick, burning, itching, pain during intercourse, dryness, etc.) used monistat 1 on Monday night. His hours Thursday night and while the burning and itching went away almost completely, there is still thick white stuff inside me. Is this normal? It will gradually shed or should I go to a doctor now and get Diflucan?

It takes 7 days to monistat 1 to fully work. If symptoms have not disappeared entirely from the Sunday you should consult a doctor for Monday.

The only thing that ever worked for me (and fast!) Is a weak white vinegar in water showers. I read this in a book of natural remedies years ago, something of yeast infections caused by an imbalance of pH in the vagina. Obtain a solution of 1-2 tablespoons of white vinegar about 2 cups of water. Corrects and eliminates itching yeast infection discharge (see if it sounds kooky to you). And in simple sugars and carbohydrates in the diet can cause and aggravate yeast infection, if you're prone to them (and I hope that your doctor may prescribe that before!). I never had much luck with the pills and creams (and I try to eat better these days), but this treatment always works for me, on the rare occasions when I need it.

It can take weeks for a yeast infection to go away and sometimes during treatment counter can not be the right treatment for you. I have never used any treatment for my yeast infection (I just let him go alone) so I'm not sure what the download would be like after a couple of days to use the monistat.
I think it's best to consult your doctor.
