I will check with my dr I was just wanting some feedback on what everyone else used. I have had a yeast infection at around 14 weeks and the dr told me to use monistat. Any preferences out of any? Is the one day ok? Is the 7 day better?

I was recently diagnosed with bacterial vaginosis (bv) and am on antibiotics (metrogel) for treatment. I know that antibiotics can cause other problems and even lead to other infections like yeast infections afterwards- the doctor did not give me anything to take for yeast afterwards. I was wondering if anyone has taken treatment for bv and successfully avoideded a yeast infection afterwards or if i am doomed to have one.

I had interstitial cystitis about a year ago, but now I am having similar symptoms again. I am taking Dyflucan for systematic candidiasis, whih I started taking recently. Medications can tend to flar up the IC, but I also had a bladder infection recently and this feels similar. Besides going to the doc, is there another way to distinguish between the two?
