I have a bad case of sore throat. I have a perscription of antibiotics, steroids, more than three pills I should take immediately to reduce swelling. I am also taking birth control pills. The doctor says to take three pills of antibiotics a day, morning, noon and night. And I’m kind of big pickups. I am very worried about getting a yeast infection. How likely is that I have a cause of all these drugs? What can I do to try to prevent this? Any advice? Incidentally, I never had a yeast infection before. This probably explains why I’m so nervous about getting one. My doctor says it’s possible I could get because of all my medication and if I do, and get calls from Diflucan.
