How does Candida Overgrowth Causes Yeast Infections?

A yeast infection is a symptom of a deeper underlying problem in your body called Candidiasis or Candida for short. Candida manifests from an internal overgrowth of the fungus in your body known as Candida Albicans. Unfortunately, when you have a yeast infection in a specific region it means that you have it elsewhere as well. This is why a full approach that deals with the entire body is crucial to full recovery. Aside from localized infections, Candida affects your mental/ emotional state, digestion, breathing, weight, and your skin among other things.

More on Candida

Candida overgrowth occurs in the intestinal tract where the majority of bacteria inside you thrive. It feeds on sugar and when you eat too much sugar, the Candida population is disrupted. When the healthy population of the fungus Candida Albicans is disrupted, it multiplies quickly and spreads out to other areas, including the vagina, which then causes a yeast infection.

The majority of the population has Candida and doesn’t even know it. Why do I say this? It’s because sugar is almost everywhere in the Standard American Diet (SAD); it’s in junk food, highly processed refined foods like white bread, colas, candy etcetera. Unless you are a highly conscious eater, I can guarantee you that you have Candida. Don’t believe me? I have provided a free link below where you can take a survey, whether you are male or female, after reading this article.

Healthy bacteria in your body under normal conditions can fight off pathogenic organisms such as Candida. But under certain conditions, such as a weak immune system, your body’s ability to defend itself is compromised. This allows Candida spiral out of control and overtake your body.

When women experience yeast infections and they only treat it locally. Candidiasis, the root of the problem is never addressed. As mentioned in Part 1, supplements alone cannot eliminate Candida either. The root cause of Candidiasis is what needs to be attacked to bring your body to a pristine state of health.

Candidiasis Natural Treatment – How to Naturally Treat Candidiasis Overgrowth

Monday, October 12th, 2009

Want to learn about the best way to approach a candidiasis natural treatment? Wouldn’t you like to begin experiencing perfect health again, or maybe for the first time in your life? If so then I have some very important suggestions for how to naturally treat candidiasis overgrowth. You don’t need to suffer from candida albicans infections, the reality is that a straightforward natural system exists to end it once and for all!

Candidiasis Natural TreatmentThe secret to treating candida naturally lies in the ability to target the root cause that caused an immune system weakness allowing for the proliferation of candida cells to develop. Often the cause of this is largely related to the following but there are many other causes as well.

Heavy Metals: Very often these metals cause candida by immune suppression. They enter into the body through many different methods, often coming just from food that is eaten such as fish that contains high levels of mercury. Although inoculations and drugs promoted as preventative often contain heavy metals as preservatives.

Prescription Drugs/Antibiotics: The sick just get sicker as drugs and those drugs used to fight infections such as antibiotics literally kill the body and disrupt the balance of health in an individual. Candida is but one of many side effects as a result of these medications.

Unhealthy Diet Habits: Diets high in sugar will feed harmful micro-organisms, while diets high in vegetables often feed beneficial bacteria. Go figure which one is more often consumed in society. This always helps to set the stage for disease.

Parasites: They exist everywhere, they’re on surfaces, on foods and on your pets. Most pet owners have the same parasites as their pets. The only difference is their pet gets de-wormed every year, you don’t.

The solution to naturally treating candida must first begin with a good look at these factors, as well as your history of health and at which point you recall the beginning of symptoms appearing. Often unhealthy lifestyles will take years to destroy a persons health, while drugs can do it within days.

Candida Overgrowth Symptoms – How to Tell If You’re Suffering from Candidiasis

Tuesday, October 6th, 2009

Candida overgrowth symptoms manifest differently for each person. The type of Candidiasis symptom will depend on how severe the condition is and on whether the patient has another underlying disease that makes him or her susceptible to yeast infection or Candidiasis.

The symptoms of Candida albicans infection can appear on the skin, on the genitorurinary system and even manifest in such a way that is not easily obvious to the naked eye; such as stress and lack of focus. Some of the signs of yeast infection are similar to other diseases; hence the usual confusion in determining the true cause.

Common symptoms of Candidiasis

For men who suffer from penile Candida albicans infection, the most common sign is rashes and skin redness, particularly in the foreskin and the head of the penis. For women with vaginal Candidiasis, a white discharge that smells like bread is one of the more common symptoms. Menstrual irregularities and yeast vaginitis that recurs are also quite common. Itching, soreness and a burning feeling are common to both men and women who have this infection.

Less obvious symptoms of Candida albicans infection

There are symptoms that might not be immediately apparent. These include anxiety and irritability, inability to focus and mood swings. In cases when infection is already rampant, depression is quite common. Drowsiness, fatigue and poor memory can also be symptoms of Candidiasis.

Skin manifestations of yeast infection

Symptoms that are easily seen and can be readily diagnosed are those that appear on the skin. Rashes, acne and dandruff can be signs of yeast infection. Drying of the skin and hair follicle inflammation can also be due to Candidiasis. In more developed cases, psoriasis and fungal infection in the nails can appear.

Having Candida albicans infection usually leads to constipation, diarrhea, frequent urination, a burning feeling in the rectum and bloating. Indigestion and lack of sexual feeling can also be symptoms of yeast infection or might be results of the condition. A person suffering from Candidiasis may also experience drastic weight gain, problem in sleeping and muscle pain.

Although most Candida overgrowth symptoms are easy enough to see, determining whether a patient has Candidiasis might not be as easy. This is because most of these symptoms are also associated with other diseases.
