Of course, you have to keep looking for the best treatment that will work for you. Common signs of oral candidiasis or yeast infection are noticeable white lesion on the lips, inside the mouth and inner cheeks. In some cases, the symptoms include nausea and fever. The lesions have the high tendency to bleed when bumped by your teeth, tongue or by your food intake. These symptoms could be very painful and it is important to find an effective oral candidiasis treatment to get rid of the painful symptoms. One way to find the treatment that will work for you is to seek professional help. Your doctor can recommend the best treatment suitable for your condition. Antifungal drugs, antifungal mouthwash and lozenges are common treatments for oral yeast infection. It is best to take drugs under the supervision of your doctor because some antifungal drugs have side effects or can cause health issues like liver problems. Practicing good oral hygiene is important. Oral yeast infection is caused by the overgrowth of Candida fungus due to imbalance in your system. Eating plain yogurt is one natural oral candidiasis treatment. Lactobacillus acidophilus in yogurt can help restore the normal bacterial flora of your mouth and keep Candida fungus in check. Cutting down on sugar or sweetened foods and yeast containing foods are another treatment that you can do to get rid of Candida. Sugar encourages the growth of Candida and influence the occurrence of oral yeast infection. Starving the fungus will stop its rapid growth. What Are The Symptoms Of A Female Yeast Infection – On The Vagina, Skin And Mouth

Monday, September 21st, 2009

Itching, Burning, Oozing, Odor, what are the symptoms of a female yeast infection. There are actually many forms that a yeast infection can take place, but I will cover the top 3 ones in this article. The other localized “versions” of a yeast infection are less well known, but they are good to know for reference if your yeast infection spreads to other areas.

On the Vagina:

To start let’s begin with the most popular localized yeast infection, in the vagina. The number one signal for woman that they have a yeast infection is usually from the intense itching. You cannot ignore it and it doesn’t go away. The skin of the vulva may become irritated, and you may experience pain while urinating. Increased vaginal discharge is also common and can range from being watery or thick, almost like cottage cheese, and may be white or whitish-gray in color.

On the Skin:

In the skin folds and general groin region, a yeast infection will result in an itching, burning, or bright red rash.

In the Mouth:

A yeast infection in the mouth is known as thrush. It results in a dry mouth feeling. You may have the sensation of something at the back of the mouth or at the top of the throat. Sensation of taste may be decreased and you may even be painful swallowing. The most obvious sign is that you will see creamy, white patches coating your tongue, cheeks, tonsils, and/or throat when you look into the mouth.

You need to accurately determine if you have a yeast infection or not. Just a heads up, if you are displaying the symptoms listed above then you most likely have it and you need to treat it as soon as possible. Make sure you are treating your yeast infection naturally without drugs.

Constantly treating your yeast infection, especially with over the counter drugs will not work. Prescribed medication through a doctor makes the fungus more resistant and harder for your body to fight in the long run. You will most likely end up having reoccurring yeast infections for life if you continue to treat it with drugs. Best of Luck!
